When we first seen Airbourne here in 2008, we stayed after the show to meet the band. I spoke with Joel and he noticed I was wearing my Rhino Bucket shirt. Joel had mentioned they seen RB in LA when they were recording Runnin' Wild and said was a major influence of their music. I can see that... Anyway, was cool to see Joel was wearing a Rhino Bucket shirt from The Hardest Town tour.

I was curious too, did Airbourne and RB hook up over in Europe somewhere..
Man that would be a killer show to see RB AND Airbourne!

The Airbourne guys are indeed friends and fans of Rhino Bucket. While RB was in Europe earlier this year the Airbourne guys were seen at I know one of their shows. I went to an Airbourne show in Philly in April and they are kickass! | |

I was fortuante enough to meet Airbourne when they played Winnipeg in April 2008. They played in a venue of 320 people here so we stayed after the show and they came out to meet the 10 or so of us. I was wearing my RB shirt, and Joel mentioned when recording Runnin' Wild that they see RB live in LA when recoriding the CD and are influences of their music....... of course! | |
