What's up Rockers !  Took me this damn long to sign on here.......sad, I know.  But wasn't expecting the other site to disappear, then took me awhile to find this one - and didn't know what the deal was.  But anyway............got a new name, a true name, but I'm still one of the OriginalRhinoFans.........

DID ALL I COULD AROUND PA. the past few weeks to promote Rhino Bucket coming to Harrisburg, PA. and Chambersburg, PA.

Wrote to the both Rock stations around here, WTPA and 105.7 The X, and simply,  kindly asked them to at least, give the Band a plug that they are playing in a small bar called Guiliftys on October 27th.  I know for sure they never play Rhino Bucket, but I ain't in control of their programming.   So, moreover.....if any of these "clown DJ's" try to introduce Rhino Bucket at this show, please Deme - tell them to don't bother........they don't give a sh** about RB music, and certainly don't deserve to introduce them.

Rhino Bucket played around here in 1992.  I was there.  I've tried to see them every chance I could since then.  Their latest CD, The Hardest Town - I swear, is their best one yet.  I love it, I really do.  They made an obvious attempt to switch it up a bit, and it shows.   Brian Forsythe just kills on this CD, he's all over it, his lead guitar playing is the best it's ever been.  And I saw KIX in 1980.......I should know.

Anyway, I've been reading your stuff on here for awhile, just took me this long to "re-join".    I see some familiar names, cool you're still around.  And I see the Bucket is going overseas for one helluva Tour........so, cool that the overseas Rockers are getting their wish, finally.

Be cool, keep rockin, see ya around............

......this is one response I got from a local, "classic" Rock radio station:

"Bottom line, I can’t just give out freeeadvertising for clubs.  They have to advertise first and I can go from there. BTW, there is no band we HAVE to play and others we can’t."

At least he answered me.   But I see these DJ's time n time again......get up and introduce Bands when they, or their station could care less about the Band they are introducing, and haven't played ANY of their songs on their radio station for decades.........

Can't say I didn't try.........

F it - I guess I'll just keep posting on my same Thread......since Cats don't talk around here anymore.......sheeeesh.

Saw Rhino Bucket this week........it was another, in your face, blew me back a few rows type show.   Hung my head in Georg's monitor for a few seconds at the beginning of "Beat to Death.....".......caught a buzz there.   Still a great rock show, from Rock Veterans.

THANKS for coming to small-town USA during the Week.....great to talk to all of you.
